Ceramic membrane for treatment of the oily wastewater from oil alkali refining

Alkali refining plays an important role in the oil refining process. At present, China's oil and fat plants mostly adopt two production methods: intermittent and continuous. First it needs to neutralize the free fatty acids in the oil with alkali to produce soap feet, and then absorb some other impurities and centrifuge the oil to refine the crude oil.

The amount of washing wastewater discharged during washing is about 100-150kg/t. The washing wastewater contains oil, fatty acid salts, suspended solids and other impurities, and some of them even contain 1-3% oil.

At present, many manufacturers use mechanical separation to simply recover the floating oil by oil separator, and then discharge it directly, which not only wastes oil resources but also causes environmental pollution.

Some are even treated by adding sulfuric acid process because the acid value of the recovered oil is high. It only can be used as industrial oil, and the recovery value is greatly reduced. Moreover, the COD of the sewage after the treatment of the recovered oil still reaches 5000-6000mg/l, making it more difficult for the post-treatment process to reach the discharge standard. Therefore, traditional methods are difficult ton solve the problem of oily wastewater treatment.

The main characteristics of ceramic membrane:

1. The oil in the washing wastewater can be effectively recovered with a recovery rate of more than 98%; The recovered oil has good quality and can be returned to the production process for reuse, so as to improve the total output rate of product oil.

2. After the washing wastewater is filtered by inorganic membrane, because most of the oil, soap and other substances are separated and removed, and the total COD value decreases by more than 80%, the load of subsequent biochemical treatment is greatly reduced, and the standard discharge can be achieved by using the oxidizer or SBR reactor.

3. Although inorganic membrane filtration equipment is relatively expensive, due to the simple follow-up treatment, the amount of civil works and the greatly reduced floor area, the one-time total investment can still be lower than traditional processes in the treatment of washing wastewater.

4. Inorganic membrane filtration system is driven at low pressure, with less power consumption. No chemical additives are required for subsequent treatment, and no large amount of sludge is generated, which greatly reduces the operation cost.

5. Inorganic membrane has good chemical stability, high mechanical strength, long service life, simple system operation, stable operation, low maintenance cost, integrated equipment can be used for biochemical treatment, and automatic control can be realized in the whole process.

After repeated research and experiments, ceramic membrane separation technology has developed a new process and system equipment for the treatment of oil industry washing wastewater and the recovery of vegetable oil, which has been successfully applied to many projects. This technology has been widely used, and our company can provide you with perfect technical solutions.
