The technical principle of MBR
1. Use activated sludge to remove the biodegradable organic pollutants
in water.
2. Separate the purified water and activated sludge by membrane.
The plate ceramic filter membrane is a rigid flat plate structure. The hydrophilic ceramic material ensures the high water flux on the surface of the membrane when the activated sludge and suspended particles are intercepted. In order to keep the membranes running for a long time and steadily, a certain amount of aeration should be carried out under the membrane, so that the biological oxygen demand is met.
Process characteristics of MBR
(1) Small floor area and space saving
Use biological treatment for high concentration wastewater, the higher the treatment concentration, the larger the size of the treated tank should be required. With MBR technology, because of high sludge concentration, it can operate at high load to save large area.
(2) The water quality is stable with high transparency
Plate ceramic filter membrane can intercept almost all microorganisms, especially for the microorganism that difficult to precipitate and slow to proliferate. So the biological phase in the system is very rich the process of acclimation and increment of activated sludge is greatly shortened, the depth of treatment and the ability to resist impact of the system are strengthened, and the water quality of the effluent is very stable.
(3) The operation and management are convenient and easy to maintain
In the traditional aerobic activated sludge treatment process, sludge bulking will occur in the operation of high sludge load, which causes the system to be unable to operate normally and the effluent can't reach the standard. While the MBR process is used to separate the mud water through the suction of the membrane. Therefore, the effect of Sludge Bulking on the effluent of MBR is much less than that of the traditional process, and then the operation and management of the sludge is very convenient. We can say that the degree of automation is high and the maintenance is simple.
(4) Long sludge age
Membrane separation makes the macromolecule hard to degrade components in sewage has sufficient residence time in a limited volume bioreactor, which greatly improves the degradation efficiency of the refractory organic matter. The reactor runs at high volume load, low sludge load and long sludge age. Then there is nearly no excess sludge discharge. Because of the long sludge age, it is more suitable for the generation of microorganisms with long generation time, which is beneficial to remove the refractory organic matter in sewage.
(5) Low power consumption
The suction pressure of ceramic filter membrane is only about -0.05 ~ -0.2MPa, and the power consumption is low. Generally, no sludge backflow is required.
(6) Strong impact resistance
When the water inflow has a great change in a short time, you can increase the flow through the membrane in a short time to alleviate the impact. When the influent water quality changes, because of the high sludge concentration, it can also achieve the purpose of alleviating impact within a certain range.
