According to the location of membrane modules, MBR membrane bioreactor can be divided into two kinds.
1. The membrane bioreactor and the membrane module are separated and placed in a split membrane bioreactor. According to the process principle, the mixed liquid enters the membrane module after being pressurized by pump. Under the pressure, the liquid passes through the membrane to get the system effluent in the mixed liquid, and the activated sludge is intercepted and flows back to the bioreactor with the concentrated liquid.
2. The membrane module is placed in the integrated membrane bioreactor. The filtrate is obtained through the suction of pump. The cross flow required is stirred by air for membrane surface cleaning. The mixed liquid moves up with the air flow direction, and shear force occurs on the membrane surface to reduce membrane pollution.
MBR membrane bioreactor is classified according to large-scale practical application:
1. Mass transfer can complete the bubble free aeration reactor of the bioreactor, which usually supplies oxygen for aerobic technology ;
2. Membrane bioreactor is used to separate solid and liquid in waste water treatment;
3. It is used for the treatment of priority pollutants in industrial waste water. The selective membrane is used to extract specific pollutants. It is also called extraction membrane bioreactor
Classification by oxygen demand:
1. The aerobic MBR membrane bioreactor is usually used for the urban and industrial wastewater treatment. The purpose of aerobic MBR for urban wastewater treatment is to make the effluent reach the purpose of reuse, and the primary purpose is to remove some extraneous pollutants, and oil pollutants from industrial wastewater treatment.
2. Anaerobic MBR membrane bioreactor is a new technology which combines membrane separation technology with anaerobic bioreactor, which is more efficient, low energy consumption, easy to control and start. The high efficiency of membrane interception not only solves the problem that anaerobic sludge is easy to drain from the membrane bioreactor, but also enhances the structure and treatment effect of the anaerobic reactor. At the same time, the membrane retained the macromolecular organics in the acid production reactor to make the hydrolysis fermentation, so as to maintain a high acidification rate. Anaerobic membrane bioreactor is often used for the treatment of high concentration organic water, and the split type is adopted.
