The European giant Seine Ava sewage treatment plant in Paris, France, also introduced the MBR process. Seine Ava is the largest sewage treatment plant in Europe. It treats 75% of Paris's sewage with an inflow of 1.21 million tons per day. The treatment process is divided into two lines: 1.1 million tons per day for traditional processes, and 2.0 million tons per day for MBR processes with an average scale of 200,000 tons and a peak flow of 360,000 tons for Wastewater Treatment (CRC P). RESS).

 

This scenario reminds us of the MBR of 10 years ago. Ten years ago, many people thought that MBR scale was suitable for the scale of less than 100,000 tons. The average daily MBR of the highest Swedish Henriksdal sewage treatment plant reached 530 thousand tons. The 500,000-ton MBR may be the pinnacle of MBR development. On the one hand, this scale of sewage treatment plant is rarely built, on the other hand, investment, risk and other costs are rising.

 

That is, about six to seven years ago, the Brightwater Sewage Treatment Plant in Seattle became the largest MBR treatment plant in the United States. At that time, there were more reports on MBR research. Now the size of MBR monomer is increasing, but it is no longer a hot topic of technical discussion.
