What are the daily maintenance methods of Nanomem® ceramic filtration membrane? Although cross flow filtration has minimized the possibility of forming dirt on the membrane surface, most filtration systems need to be cleaned by conventional chemical cleaning. Ceramic membrane can stand corrosive solutions, high temperature and high pressure cleaning agents and cleaning conditions, which means they can have a relatively long working life. The following are the effective cleaning steps.
① When the drain system is filled with water at the same temperature as the membrane, the valve should be closed to make the membrane pressure negligible at the dialysis outlet. The method can remove the dirt under the condition of cross flow without redeposition inside. Finally, it needs to flush the system with water at the same temperature until the concentrate appears clean.
② Use NaOCl containing 0.5% w / W and 1% w / W NaOH cleaning solution to circulate at 50 ℃ for 15 minutes. The pre cleaning procedure can remove the dirt in the system pipeline and reduce the deposition on the surface layer. The dialysis port valve remains closed. Drain the concentrated end only.
③ Under the dialysis port closed, 2% w / W NaOH solution was used to circulate at 60-80℃ for 30 minutes. The dialysis port should be open slowly and continue to rinse for 30 minutes, which can ensure that the membrane support layer and dialysis end are cleaned, empty the components for dialysis and concentrate the liquid on both sides.
④ Flush with water until pH is close to neutral, then check the permeability of pure water. The difference between the test value and the first test value must be within 10% under the same conditions. If this value is lower than the first test value, HNO3 (steps 9-12) is required for cleaning.
⑤ Close the outlet valve at the dialysis end, and use 0.5% - 1% HNO3 to circulate at 60-70 ℃ for 15 minutes. In the step, the inorganic salt deposits should be dissolved, the dialysis end valve should be opened slowly, and the cleaning should be continued for 10-20 minutes.
